Invasive Fish and Prohibited Bait Species
On Nova Scotia Species-at-Risk website. 6 fish are listed as prohibited bait: Chain Pickerel, Smallmouth Bass, Yellow Perch, White Perch, Bullhead and Goldfish. Smallmouth Bass and Yellow Perch have been in sandy lake for some time, In June 2020, a White Perch was caught. See post
