– Barbados SurfSide Breakwater “This breakwater hosts an usually abundant, diverse and overall healthy populations of corals & fish in an area of otherwise highly degraded fringing reef and excessive nutrient loading. The breakwater is approx 116 m length, width 14-17 m, distance to mean low water from inner side 11 to 25 m; overall orientation 12deg/192deg.
Currently (Nov 28, 2025) many observations posted to iNaturalist for specimens within this area are not showing up on iNaturalist maps, projects etc… ‘following up. – jp22. (Nov 28, 2025)
