Wrote Ashlea on Apr 9, 2024: A lovely day for a “stubble” (wandering around looking for stubble lichens — and other things, too). Being in the woods during the solar eclipse was magical. Here’s Haeweon Yi with our first Sclerophora on paper birch. [We’d only found these on yellow birch and red maple at Goldsmith before.] In the low light later, everything seemed to be glowing.
