Bill Freedman, 2018. The literature cited goes up to mid-2015. Part V: Environmental Damages, Chapter 26 ~ War
Bill published the first ed. of this book in 1998. The 5th ed. was published in 2010, which I have on my desktop. It does not include a chapter on War. McGraw Hill published a “student version” in 2013, I need to find out if it has a chapter on war.
Certainly it was very prescient to include a chapter on War in an Environmental Science textbook, but on reflection, we may wonder why any such textbook would not include a chapter on war. Bill passed prematurely in 2015. I suspect if he was still writing, the newer editions would extend the War chapter to include Inhumanity, Injustice… and Bill would present the issues in his very Matter of Fact – and Truthful to the Facts – style.
