ARE DOGS ALLOWED ON THE BLUFF TRAIL?
The Bluff Trail is not designated an "off leash area" by HRM, but the trail
is entirely on Crown Land rather than HRM land.
WRWEO's policy is that
dogs are
permitted on the trail as long as they are under full control at all times.
So
far (since the trail openned in 2005) there have been, to our knowledge, no
untoward incidents on the trail involving dogs. Dogs stay with their
owners and
their owners stay on trail. We have observed no dog poop left on the trail.
Owners have been very responsible keeping the trail free of litter.
