Using Clover to Make Weeds "Disappear"1. Lawn 1. At top, ground ivy has taken over this site. In the clover lawn below, the ivy is smaller and more dispersed and there is more grass; a pleasing mosaic of textures is created in which the weeds do not stand out as unsightly. Essentially the weeds have disappeared.
