Timbers Supporting the McCurdy Creek Aboiteau Located on Londonderry Township’s
Little Dyke Salt Marsh
Fortunately two important artifacts dating to the 1880,s have survived for Londonderry Township’s
Little Dyke Salt
Marsh. The first relic is an Aboiteau that crosses the McCurdy Creek and the second item is a
record book containing the minutes of meetings
held by the dykeland proprietors when aboiteau was
being built.
