Landscape in Transition

Halifax*, Nova Scotia, is a city of approximately 350,000 embedded in a wonderful landscape of forests, barrens, wetlands, lakes, rivers, estuaries and rocky coast. That is changing as the city becomes an ever more popular place to live and work and the planet becomes ever more crowded. What will this landscape look like in 50 years?
