Who I am

On the first Friday Web Day, each student will prepare a "who I am" page in HTML format to contribute to a "who we are" page on our WebCT site (and ultimately on the Agroecosystems site). We will adopt a standard format. Bring a photo to class for dp to scan or have a classmate take your picture with a digital camera. The following information should go on the page.
  1. Name
  2. Photo
  3. Favorite something (movie, book, quote )
  4. Degree
  5. Highshool
  6. e-mail address
  7. Interests

Make your page as you want for now; when we finally make our Web page, we will decide on a standard format. [In class, we decided to "let anything go" for these pages, but to adopt a standard format for the Special Topics pages]

For an example, see MacSeed's page

Unless you want to use MacSeeds photo, you need to bring me a photo to scan, or I or Ravi can lend you a digital camera to do it. I will scan the photo, and put it in the pics directory on our WebCT site. You should identify this photo in your page as:

<IMG SRC="http://is.dal.ca/~dp/Mypct.jgp" WIDTH="xxx" HEIGHT="yyy"> substituting your surname for Mypct, and adjusting height and width by trial (but preserve the ratio of heigth to width).
