FRAME VERSION of this page may be more convenient

The links on this page cover major topics relevant to an agroecosystems perspective. We have presented only a few links for each topic. Topics

*We especially appreciate URLS
for good sites on these topics

* In some cases, a particular document is cited, and may not itself be available, but it is likely that the site is still there and has related information. Usually, you can check that possibility out by moving up one or two levels in the address hierarchy. For example, we found a paper on Remote Sensing at http://www.cciw.ca /eman-temp/reports/publications/remote-sens/part9.html If it were not available, you could check ...../reports /publications/remote-sens/ or ..../reports/publications/ for other papers.

Remote-sensing already is in use by quite a few larger farms, but I can see the positive impact it could have on smaller farm systems like the ones that we study. This page is part of a larger publication, and introduces the value of SAR (synthetic aperture radar) as a tool to measure crop yield, cover type, and net primary productivity, to name a few of its uses. The root of this site is the Ecological Monitoring and Assessment Network of Environment Canada. Modern technology can be very beneficial in designing agroecosystems"
