Complimentary Photobanks

Unless it is stated that you can copy photos gratis, you should always request permission to use an image on a Web page or otherwise.

Following are some sites that between them offer a wide variety of photos related to agriculture and that you can use without having to request specific permission. However, do cite the source.

Note that most images downloaded from the Web are 72 ppi images; while they present good quality on a monitor, they do not produce good print images.

    "The CGIAR photo collection is arranged by subject. CGIAR photos may be reproduced, provided credit is given to the CGIAR and to the relevant research center as noted under each picture.
